One of the ways we show love to ourselves is by respecting ourselves, our time and our energy. I have learned from my therapist the importance of settings boundaries in all types of relationships. It's up to us to decide who we allow in our close orbit, and who we keep at a farther distance. What's important is to practice setting boundaries that are healthy for us. This piece is part of my series, "Words From My Therapist."
