FAQ

Am I buying an original piece of artwork?
Yes! Every piece you purchase is an original, handmade and one-of-a-kind.

How delicate is my watercolor painting?
Watercolor is a beautiful yet very delicate medium. It is water-soluble and is therefore sensitive to moisture which can permanently damage the painting.

How should I keep my watercolor painting?
It is best to display watercolor matted and behind glass to protect it from the elements.

To preserve the colors, watercolor pieces should be out of direct sunlight to avoid sun damage. I have also sprayed the artwork with several coats of UV-resistant spray to protect the work from sunlight.

Heat, oils, odors and moisture also affect watercolor. It is advised to not hang it near heaters or other heat-emitting appliances because that will damage the color pigments permanently. Dramatic fluctuations in the environment can also damage the painting.
